Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (RCT2) is the best roller coaster simulation that I have ever played. The first one was great ,but they took this game a step further. You can now try to manage and improve on many different Six Flags theme parks from the US and Germany.
Probably my favorite part of the game was the roller coaster disigner. The roller coaster designer allows you to build a roller coaster out side of the scenarios of the game. You can build any sort of coaster that you want, they do not charge money to build in this designer tool.
GRAPHICS: The graphics arent anything to be astounded by, but they are pretty good. They arent real life graphics nor are they cartoonish in anyway. The graphics are sufficient for the game.
SOUND: The sound is pretty much the same. Thet do have some pretty cool sounds in there though. You can actually hear a person throwing up or people flusing toilets! Obvisously you can hear the trains getting pulled up the lift hill buy the chain...click, click, click.
GAMEPLAY: The purpose of the game is to basically start off with a really boring park with not much in it and turn it into a great theme park with many exciting attractions. There can be lags every now and then in the game but they are few and far between.
COASTERS: There are too many coasters to name! You can pretty much make any kind, style, or layout that you can ever imagine. I'm sad to say that I've woken up with an idea as to what kind of track layout I could make next.
EXTRAS: There are many extras in the game. I already mentioned the roller coaster designer. There is also a Custom Park maker which allows you to make a huge park, make the landscape, the rules of the scenario ie. number of people that you must have in your park within two years or park rating or net worth.
OVERALL: If you have never played this game or are thinking about getting this game you should get to a store that sells this title as soon as possible. You'll love it! Tell the cashier that brown12687 sent ya.
