fast and full of features

Pros:fast card, large feature set includign hardware for dvd playback.
Cons:not the fastest card avalible
The Bottom Line: If you can afford to buy a new card one or more times a year, by all means go with a Geforce. If not stick with the Radeon.
I ultimatly decided on the ATI card because of it's large feature set. It supported features that are not yet implemented in games but probably will be soon. Since i cannot upgrade every time a new card comes out I wanted one that was going to last me a while. The DVD playback is excellent. In combination with my 700mhz Athlon I can play games such as American McGee's Alice at 1600x1200 with all the graphics set to high, with no noticible hits in smoothness (fps) or overall gamepaly. While it may not be the fastest card on the market, value wise it's the best and it shines in 32bit color on games. great card.
