I agree. You can't put the bleach gel on and wash it out immediately. I let the bleach sit and wait for the stain to disappear, then wash the item. Make sure you don't leave it on too long, or it will eat a hole in your garment.

I learned that it takes more then a minute to get rid of the stain. I usually just rub it on the stain and let it sit until the stain disappears...usually within 5 minutes or so. I then just hold it under the sink and rinse instead of throwing it in the wash unless I have a white load. There were a couple stains that I had to do this to twice but they all came out.

Have you tried regular bleach on the stains? Before I tried the Clorox Pen, I used to hold the stain over the opening of the bottle of bleach and invert the bottle so the bleach only went on the stained area. (I use Clorox Advantage which is thicker than regular Clorox. It worked very well on the bigger stains for me. I have also thrown a white item with colored embroidery/print into my whites load with a cup of bleach and had success w/o bleaching the print. Depends on how desperate you are to remove the stain.
