How Oxi Clean Stain Remover Saved Me Hundreds of Dollars!!!

I bought a bottle of Oxi Clean Active Stain Remover one day because a neighbor of mine raved over this product. I was having a hard time parting with my Matag dishwasher that I have had for over ten years. I love that dishwasher model in particular and did not want to have to spend hundreds on replacing my dishwasher. I had called two different repairmen over to look at my dishwasher to try and figure out why it was leaking. It seems as if my dishwasher only leaks when the repairman isn't there.
My neighbor took a look at it and suggested that I buy a bottle of Oxi Clean. He suggested that I spray the inside of the seal around the door and let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe it down. He thought that maybe that there was buildup around the seal that was preventing my door from sealing properly.
I was desperate and decided to give Oxi a try. I had looked at the bottle while I was in the store to look at the ingredients. I had said to myself, "Hydrogen Peroxide?!? Hm...sounds crazy but I will try it."
If you are looking to try this stuff, it comes in a 21.5 FL OZ spray bottle that is blue with a white spray pump. I would advise picking up some rubber gloves if your going to be using a lot of this product. I have sensitive hands and this product could burn you if you hold the spray bottle at an odd angle it can drip on to your hands. This product does not have a strong scent and you do not have to worry about an offensive odor. I can barely smell it at all.
As soon as we returned home from the store I couldn't wait to try Oxi Clean Stain Remover. I did not think to use any gloves at the time. I sprayed the inside door and seal down around my dishwasher. I was trying to get way down into the bottom of the door where a bit of the seal still was and when I did I noticed that my hands started to burn. I ran them under cold water for a few seconds and then got out my gloves.
I waited about 5 minutes and then wiped the seal down. Wow!! OXI Clean Active Stain Remover works great! I decided to load a few things in the dishwasher to see if it still leaked. My favorite dishwasher stopped leaking!!! I was soooo happy! When you have something that you have had around for ten years you really do have a hard time parting with it. I was amazed and wanted to say thank you....THANK YOU!!
Oxi Clean Stain Remover claims to be able to remove tough stains like wine, blood dirt tomato pet stains, grass and even some set-in stains, and this product is chlorine-free and color-safe.
I was sitting in my living room with my family and we were all kind of quiet gazing down at our living room rug. Our rug is starting to get worn and there is a huge stain right in the middle of the room. Our beloved dog Brandy had died in my living room on our rug. At the time I was not worried about my rug. I was more worried about making her comfortable and had set out a blanket and a pillow for her. When she died she had coughed up a bunch of liquid with blood. After she had passed, I had tried everything to remove this stain. Nothing would work. Every time we go in the living room this stain is a constant reminder of that sad day. We are planning on getting a new rug. We really wanted to take the time to shop around. I don't have tons of money to blow on carpeting right now. I will have to wait for a sale.
I went ahead and sprayed a bunch of Oxi Clean Stain Remover on this spot in the rug. I didn't figure it would get any of the stain out since the stain has been set in for at least three months now. I did not bother with testing in an inconspicuous area like the directions had stated because I wasn't worried about the carpet anyway and I knew It would be going sooner or later. I just did not want to look at this stain anymore!
I sprayed and waited a few moments and then blotted the rug down with a damp cloth. I waited for the area to dry and I was once again amazed! It did not completely remove the stain but it is barely noticeable now. I wish I would have known about Oxi Clean sooner! I would bet that if I would have had a bottle of this on hand and could have used it right when it happened it would have removed the entire spot.
I have vowed to always have a bottle of this stuff on hand! If you have children or pets, I think that this product is perfect to have around.
My daughter loves Oxi Clean Stain Remover just as much as I do. Her and light color clothes do not go together. She is always using this product on the collars of her shirt to remove stains. She claims it is "The Bomb," in teenage lingo.
She has also used Oxi Clean Stain Remover to remove grass stains out of her sneakers. She loves it. I have even used it on my son's mattress one time when he was goofing around and bit his lip and left blood stains on his bed. The blood came right up. I just sprayed it on and took a lightly damp sponge to it. The stain was removed with in seconds. I really love this stuff.

Directions:
1 Remove as much of the excess stain as possible.
2. Open spray nozzle.
3. Spray directly onto spot or stain until saturated.
4 Rub into fabric and let stand for 5 minutes,
Laundry: Wash with your normal detergent, and for Carpet blot with a clean white towel, Rinse with water and repeat as required.
There is an advisory on this product. Keep out of reach of children and pets, avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes or extended contact with skin. I can first hand tell you that this product did burn my hands. My only complaint is that it did burn, but I did not read the directions the first time I used this product or I would have used rubber gloves.
