This mp4 player is a great thing to have around....if you know how to use it. If you are terrible with electronics, then dont get this. But, its really not very complicated. It hooks to your computer through a Usb 1.1 or a USB 2.0 or firewire ports and you can transfer music, movies, and images very quickly. Music transfer is a snap. Once you download a song, just hook in your mp4 player, and drag the song into the player. (This is hard to explain but if you got it, you would understand) You could also use any mp3 transfer software to get your song(s) onto the player. The best part about this little device is how you can put many full length movies on its harddrive, and still have plenty of space. The movies come out very close to DVD quality. They come out full and rich, with no lack of color. The best part, you can play them on the archos, or on a big television screen. Pictures take up very little space on this device. It can store hundreds of thousands of pictures. It is amazing. The attachment that comes with this is a device that lets you record off live TV and convert it into the format that this mp4 player uses. The Archos company gives you all the cables and software needed for this mp4 player, and it is all very easy to use. It is a handy device, and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cool new gadget.
