After searching many types of stores for some coffee makers (see my previous two reviews,) I came across Whole Latte Love. Their site is laid out so that no matter what page you pick, their main menu is always available on the left side (not in a separate window, but as part of the page.) Products are listed by both manufacturer and type (coffee maker, espresso maker, coffee beans, parts, etc...) When you choose an item to look at, it has a picture, a list of features, reviews from buyers, description, and specs. They carry coffee makers, espresso makers, coffee, and most related accessories.
Before I bought my Bunn-o-matic, I wrote twice to the customer service department with questions about it. Both times I received quick and (as I've now discovered) accurate responses. A few days after I got the machines, a part broke on the espresso maker (the plastic part of the frothing wand.) I wrote to the customer service department and quickly received a response and a new part was sent out the next day.
As far as prices go, theirs are quite good. While you may find something for a few dollars cheaper somewhere else, Whole Latte Love includes shipping and tax in their prices. Also, they will match other sites prices (within their guidelines for matching.) They have very detailed policies about pricing, matching, and returns (if you return an item, you have to pay the return shipping AND the initial shipping to you.) All their policies are spelled out on the site and easy to find.
I ordered the machines on a Monday and they arrived on Thursday. You have a few types of shipping options but if you upgrade from the free shipping, it can get quite expensive. They use Federal Express so you get a tracking number to follow your order. Both machines came in the same box, well packed in foam peanuts, and in fine condition.
Checkout was standard. Nothing odd compared to most sites. I used a Visa credit card. After checkout, you receive a confirmation email when the order is complete and again when the order ships along with a tracking number. When you buy something from them, you are automatically put on their monthly newsletter mailing list. You can later opt out.
