Although the prices from ABC Distributing are very good, the shipping charges will come back to bite you - if you're not careful!

I ordered about $150 worth of products from them (my first order with them) and they are slowly shipping each item individually at an average of $8 per box! So, since I ordered about 10 items... I'm expecting shipping charges to be around $80!! It's outrageous!

Oh... and that's not the last of it! I received an email after a couple boxes were delivered and they said, "Residential Advisory Notice" basically saying they were going to charge me an ADDITIONAL $1.40 per shipment because they were delivering to a residential address!!!! Who cares if it's a residential address? At these shipping charges, they should deliver anywhere!

The kicker is this... I wanted to find out about shipping charges BEFORE I placed my online order and they never told me what they would be. I kept going through each online payment window, thinking the next one HAS to tell me what the shipping will be!! Then low and behold my order was "completed" and my items would be shipped and I'd be invoiced for each item. I would never have agreed to these shipping charges... but it was somewhere in the fine print I'm sure.

I called on this, after waiting on hold for over 12 minutes long distance (they have no customer service 800 number), they told me they didn't even know the shipping charges until the items were packaged to be shipped. And they couldn't ship them all together because they were "not compatible" whatever that means because when I asked she just said, "they are not compatible to be shipped all together." That's hard to believe since even I could have put the items I received so far all in the same box. ???

Buyer beware of this "cheap" seller - in the long run they're not. Go to Overstock.com instead and pay the $2.95 shipping for the WHOLE order regarless of how many boxes they ship to you!
