I love this band, album. Now I'll never get Kermit rocking on the beach out of my head. Flopping his green arms around. Hopping to and fro with a guitar around his neck, other muppets playing in the background. Monster running back and forth on the beach. Jeez!
I guess the image of Kermit rocking on the beach really isn't a bad thing. It almost makes the music that much more fun.
Although, I think the lead singer sounds nothing like Kermit.

Kermit? The beach? You slay me.
In any case, I think that he's more a Beck character. But then again, I'm probably attracted to that becuase I've always been keen on nerds...heck I am one.

Ha. Seriously, if it wasn't for the grating effect of the lead vocalist and the banjoes galore, I'd dig this as much as, say...Wilco, the Jayhawks, Old 97's, Son Volt, etc. But I couldn't get the image of Kermit the Frog at a beach bluegrass festival out of my head. Oh well...glad you liked it, though.
