Pros: Ultra small size, very light-weight. Good set of features for a small phone.
Cons: No external caller ID, limited accessories, charger port cover easy to lose.
The Bottom Line: A stylish phone at a good price. I think it looks more stylish than the Motorolas (rounded instead of the squarish Motorolas), and it is much smaller too.

| bloodline23's Full Review: Samsung SGH-X426 |
My wife and I purchased a set of these phones for our yearly phone upgrade through AT&T. We paid a total of $50 for both phones, and I think it was really a bargain. We had both been using Nokias before, and the smaller size of this phone is perfect. I can put it in the same pocket as my wallet without any trouble. In fact, I figured out that my volkswagon car keys are about the same size as the phone! The display is crisp, and the sound is great (I actually had a co-worker ask me if I could lower the ring volume, because she knew every time I got a phone call). The included games are a little weak (a scrolling space shooter and a game I've seen on old computers that involves removing chunks of the screen before anything hits your lines), and at $4-$5 per download for new games, I probably won't use the gaming functions much. Of course, if you are buying a phone and care a lot about games it can play, then you would be a different user than me! I originally thought the case would break easily, but it seems pretty solid. I have dropped it a couple of times without any incidents. The accessories available for the phone are pretty limited (a case which, last time I checked, was out of stock at the Samsung website, a car charger, and a data cable bundle), but other than the car changer, I can't think of much else an owner might want. Also, the phone doesn't have the exterior caller ID screen, but I haven't been bothered much by having to flip open the phone to see who is calling. The battery time for me is about 3-4 days (I usually talk about 60-80 minutes during that period), and I keep it on the whole time. My wife (who uses her phone about 10-20 minutes a week) charges her phone about once a week. For the price we paid, these phones were a steal. The phone also came with mMode, so you can browse the internet (which I haven't found a need for yet). And to top it off, it still has a vibrate option even though it is so small! My only real complaint is that the cover for the charger port on the bottom of the phone is not attached to the phone (it is a little rubber piece that you pull off when you want to connect the charger). All of the other rubber covers stay attached to the phone, but not this one for some reason. Of course, the first thing that got lost on one of the phones was the charger port cover. It probably won't cause any damage in the long run, but the phone does look a little less sleek when the port is exposed.
