You know, I am always looking for easy ways to upload music onto my computer so that I could make my own CDs and to place the songs that I have written and created onto the Internet as MP3s. MusicMatch gave me the ease of doing that.
I first tried it a couple of years back when it was free, but now for certain things you have to pay. But it is worth it. I had to compare it to windows media player. With windows media player, you upload all these songs, make a playlist and start downloading them onto a CD. So you wait patiently getting excited about the music you are going to hear on the blank CD-R that you just paid about $3.00 for (more or less) and then windows media player does not finalize the CD, giving you the inability to play the CD anywhere. So you waste a CD.
MusicMatch is not like that. After you go to MusicMatch.com and download their program, you can upload tracks, make CDs, turn your songs into MP3 which can be very valuable to upcoming singers, artists and/or musicians, store songs or even whole CDs on a playlist so you can have the convenience of not having to carry around a CD case full of CDseveryday, and instead, having the music you want in front of you for your playing convenience. You can even upload music from MusicMatch onto an MP3 player and it makes it easy for MP3 player users, because then you don't really need to download too many programs onto your hardware. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is that it takes a little longer than I would like to create CDs. If you wanted to put like 15 songs onto a CD, it could take about a half an hour or more, though you get the pleasure of listening to it for as long as you want. And what is best about MusicMatch is if you share your computer with many people, what you upload onto MusicMusic may not be accessible to other users of MusicMatch if you don't want other computer sharers messing with your files. Each person gets their own files and they may have the ability to see the songs you have on your file, but won't have the ability of listening to those songs unless they upload those songs on their own. MusicMatch has made my love of music simpler and better.
Now with any website or program that you use on-line, they ask you to fill out a form and at the end, ask you if it is alright for them to share your information with other companies. If you are smart, you will say no because if you say yes, then you will receive spam from companies that you probably are not interested in hearing from, unless you have time to delete a plethora of unwanted e-mails a day.
I have never had a problem with my MusicMatch program, so I never had to contact customer service for any reason. My lack of knowledge does not give me the ability to really fill you in on what to expect from them, but I can tell you the program is easy to use and probably won't give you any problems either. Hopefully.
MusicMatch is not a bad program to use and whether you are interested in the free version or the one you have to pay for, it is worth it. Give it a shot. Half of the time, when people down programs totally, you might actually like it for yourself. So don't get turned off so quickly by what others tell you.
