I recently had an ergonomic assessment of my workstation on the job. The main problem that led to the need for the assessment was discomfort in my right wrist after using my computer for extensive periods of time, which I often treated with Bengay Greaseless Pain Relieving Cream, at night. One of the recommended upgrades from my assessment was switching my standard mouse pad for a 3M Precise Mousing Surface. Since this switch was made, I have noticed that I have less discomfort in my wrist, and less need for Bengay and other ointments.

Product Features
This product features a silky smooth micro- groove (gritty) surface that increases traction, and traps dust and debris in the valley as the mouse moves along the surface, reducing the need for frequent cleaning of the mouse. Pointing, clicking, and dragging are a cinch with this product. There is excellent synchronization of the movement between the mouse and cursor that results in more accuracy in mousing. The sticky, plastic no-skid base prevents the wrist rest from shifting while working. The soft, cushion-like, gel filled wrist rest holds the wrist in the proper position at all times, which increases comfort.
The 3M Precise Mousing Surface comes in a variety of colors, sizes, and designs and works well with a standard or optical mouse. My mousing surface has a black wrist rest and a purple background with clouds, that is soothing to the eye.
Recommendation
I spend most of the day at work researching on the Internet and writing reports. With the upgrades recommended from my ergonomic assessment, particularly the 3M Precise Mousing Surface, I have detected a noticeable decrease in my wrist discomfort at the end of the day. The price is also reasonable at @$13.99. I highly recommend this product for frequent mouse users. It's the best mousing surface on the market, hands down!
