Pros:nice smell, not harsh to my allergies
Cons:not a miracle worker; some stains simply require divine intervention to get up...
The Bottom Line: It gives me the confidence in the sense that when it doesn't work, I feel I've done all I can.
I have had cats all my life. They've lived in the house where I grew up, and I think we've all done our part to funk up the house worse than a bunch of Frenchman. The house makes skunks put in overtime! I used resolve, however, and already I smell a change.
I have a carpet steamer that I use Resolve in and it pulls up a surprising amount of odors. It is definitely worth the price, and as a guy with asthma, the smell really isn't that bad, either.
There are cons, though. For instance, it dissolves the pet urine stains which is a good thing, but the steamer and my scrubbing help to distribute the odor over a larger area. Also, the fresh scent of the chemicals fade after a while, leaving just the urine.
Even so, it gets a lot out of the carpet. I still recommend it simply because it can deal with odors as tough as cat urine. Remember, urine is hard to treat, so even a significant reduction in acridity is welcomed and also hard to get from other brands of cleansers.
In conclusion, if you own pets and a functioning nose, get some Resolve in your arsenal to keep the two in peaceful coexistence.
