Pros: clothes look as good as they do when leaving dry-cleaner, time-saver
Cons: think ingredients are a bit vague
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this as it is extremely convenient and lot easier to do than fiddling with an iron and you get same results as dry cleaner.

| cracker24's Full Review: Downy Wrinkle Releaser All Scents |
I purchased Downy Wrinkle Releaser as a way to keep clothes wrinkle free and hopefully avoid a trip to the dry-cleaner or worse still having to take the time to iron them. The Dry Cleaner always seems to make the clothes look better than I ever could by simply using an iron until now. I have found simply using this product gives me dry-clean results. I also found it to be a huge time saver.
The claim is to smooth away wrinkles and leave clothes vibrantly fresh. In my own experience, I have found it does exactly that.
The product comes in a white spray bottle. The bottle contains 500 mL or 16.9 Fl. Oz. This product is available at most drugstores as well as various grocery stores. The price I paid for it was $3.99. The manufacturer, Proctor and Gamble, is also very well-known.
The instructions are very simple and have only 3 simple steps:
1) Spray the garment from 8 inches away.
2) Tug and smooth away wrinkles.
3) Hang dry.
Additional instructions include:
Spray fabric with a sweeping gesture until slightly damp. For more severe wrinkles, or heavy fabrics more spray is needed.
Ingredients include: fiber relaxers, water, quality control agents and perfume. Ummm is it just me or is quality control agents a bit vague?
The product has worked fine for me on everything I've used it on from rayon and silk to cotton and polyester. However, you should always test a small spot to make sure it will have the same results for you.
Common sense: Do not spray the bottle at someone's face especially their eyes. Keep away from small children.
I would recommend this as it lives up to its claim. In addition, it is good for those times when you are in a rush to go somewhere and the iron won't heat up or you can't get to a dry cleaner. Typically the fabric takes anywhere from 10-15 minutes to dry. The only bad thing I noticed was that the ingredients listed are a bit vague. How many people actually know what exactly a quality control agent is or what is in the perfume that is listed as an ingredient? If you want clothes that stay wrinkle free, then choose Downy.
