| marinamartin's Full Review: Woolite Oxy Deep Cleaner |
I have a slew of cats and frequently take in foster kittens, which means my carpets get a beating. Living in an apartment, I have to be extra careful to keep my carpets clean so I dont have to pay for them to be replaced.
I have tried a good number of spray cleaners and always go back to Woolite Oxy Deep Cleanser. Ive always trusted Woolite to wash my delicate clothes, so it makes sense they also make a quality spot remover for my carpet.
So far, I have gotten these stains out successfully with Oxy Deep: cat vomit, litter box accidents, garlic butter sauce, burn marks (from a computer CPU sitting on the floor), and coffee. Though my felines are always coming up with new challenges for it, its tackled every stain Ive sprayed it on to-date.
I have used this on beige and light brown carpets with equal success, and never experienced discoloration. It doesnt have a strong odor like some other cleaners, and dries quickly.
Directions
Vacuum over the stain to pick up any loose dirt. Lightly spray the stain and let it sit for two minutes (I am usually too impatient to wait this long). Dab at the stain (dont scrub) with damp paper towels until it all comes up. Let dry, then vacuum over the spot again.
Difficulties
You truly only need a light spray to get up most stains. Over-spraying causes the stain to take longer to come out, because most of what youre soaking up with paper towels is simply suds.
For some deep-set pet stains, I preferred the power of the Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber.
Woolite Oxy Deep Cleaner is sold in 22fl oz blue spray bottles at most grocery and drug stores.
