Pros: Thin profile, lightweight, and large, vivid color display. Clear audio and easy to use.
Cons: No caller id, hands-free headset not functional, and battery charger cover is not practical.
The Bottom Line: I am very pleased with the X426.I was looking for a lightweight, compact phone that had all up to date features, including email. The color screen hooked me.

| woowoo's Full Review: Samsung SGH-X426 |
I just purchased this phone through AT & T wireless with a 2 year plan, it cost me only $49.99. The Main features I would like to pint out are;
Weight and Size: The Samsung SGH-x426 weighs only 2.8 oz. It's lighter than the average cell phone and its comfortable to use and carry around.
Battery Performance: It has a maximum rated standby time of 216 hours and a talk time of 420 minutes, which is above average.
Color Display: The color display color mode is 65,000 colors and its resolution is 128 x 160. The color display is useful when I browse the wireless web or viewing pictures. I am able to see all the vivid colors and displays just like my personal PC at home.
Voice Note: It has voice notes. I have found this useful since I like to make verbal quick notes while I am driving to and from work or while on the road.
Additional features : Speed Dialing,
Download games and ring tones,e-mail, and conference call 1-5 callers.
Main Cons:
You have to open the phone to see who is calling you rather than see onto a direct screen. No caller id until it's answered.
The battery charger connects to the phone by a chip in the bottom of the phone. It seems flimsy and could get broken. A small cover is provided but I have to remember to place it back on the phone after I charge it. Well, I already lost it. There is no external battery display, which would be nice but isn't a necessity.
If you are wearing the ear piece, the phone doesn't ring through the ear piece. If you have the phone in your purse, pocket, or out of sight you may not hear it ringing.
