10 greats...don't mess with this listApr 17 '01 Write an essay on this topic. The Bottom Line This is a list dominated by comedies. I love these movies. 10)Usual Suspects- A true classic. It kept me sleepless thinking about it when I first saw it. Now it is one of my favorite movies. 9)Half-Baked- This movie is truely a bundle of laughs. I think it is by far the best weed comedy out there. The imortal line, "I don't do drugs, I smoke weed." 8)Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking your Juice in the Hood - The name just about says it all. Another great spoof comedy of all the dark movies about the ghetto. Even some of your politically correct friends will find it hard not to laugh. 7)Spy Hard - Nothing will ever make me laugh as hard as Michael Jackson catching fire and jumping out of a 10 story building's window. Nuff said. 6)Offie Space - This movie did not do well in theaters. However, it is truly awesome. Mike Judge is a certifiable genius. Imagine Dilbert, moving, lazier, and disgruntled. 5)Rock and Roll High School - Ramones, that should be enough. The basis for one of the greatest songs ever. There that is enough. 4)Wayne's World - Mike Myers at his best. A classic. True funniness. Check it out if for some reason you haven't. 3)Animal House - "Toga, toga, toga!" The invention of party comedies. Classic gags, and the late great John Belushi. Check it out 2)Mallrats - Kevin Smith, a god. This is one of the most quotable movies ever, and while Mr Smith hatest this move, I think it is fabulous. He doesn't reside in my top two slots for no reason. 1)Clerks - The most quotable movie ever. Black and white and made for no money. Enter: Jay and silent Bob. This movie started the track that seems to never end. Long Live Kevin Smith. Honorable Mention: Road Trip, Anything by National Lampons |
