Pros: Goes down to 18HZ(inaudible). Spend 4 times as much for slightly better quality.
Cons: None!!! People who complain about its size don't need to be looking for Subwoofers, Period.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this sub to anybody because as a current Paradigm customer you cannot match or beat their price for performance. Check one out @ a dealer today!!!

| sboese's Full Review: Paradigm 12" Powered Subwoofer PW-2200 |
I have had my PW2200 for approx. 3 months now. For the price $800.00 U.S. I could not find anything close that matched it except for the B&w 12"; which I might add cost about 4 times has much with, not that much difference in sound. When I first got it, sub sounded boomy and not tight, which is what I expected, my Studio CC center channel too about 60 hours before I started to hear what I was hearing at the stereo store. After approx. 40 hours of break-in I noticed that almost out of nowhere the sub tightened up, it started to deliver tight clean bass, articulate bass lines, and go down to the inaudible depths of 22HZ & lower. I know I could not hear it(the bass) but I could definitely feel it. While watching MIB 2, I heard all sorts of bone shaking bass & I thought I started to hear some rattling, went over to check out my Subwoofer, It was just fine, turned out to be my Big Screen shaking. Not to shabby considering my old sub could not come close to matching this beast.
I have the V2 of this sub. which boast a 400 Watt RMS(that's continuous power) Ultra High Current Class D Amplifier, which has a Peak output of 1500 Watts, That's right 1500 Watts. For those few of you out there that don't know the difference between 100 Watts of power, and 100 Watts of High current power. You can use this as an idea. You can have a 105 Watt Per Channel, 6 channel Receiver, and watch it not produce the same amount of power or sound as a 60 Watt Per Channel, 6 channel High current receiver. When your looking at receivers and subs, check out the power output, if it is certified high current, You should not be disappointed. The last thing I will say is that I would recommend this sub to anybody looking to add some depth to their HT system or dedicated stereo.
