I ordered a Sony DSC-P10 for $299.99, a price about $100 cheaper than the big stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, e.g.) on February 8th. I then received an email stating that the item was on back order and that I would have to wait 2 weeks for the product to arrive.....fast forward two weeks: I call Nick at extension x237 and inquire as to the status of my order and he says that I would have to wait another two weeks as they are "not an authorized Sony dealer." In a bit of frustration, I ask "Well, what should I do?" The reply: "Well, right now we have a package deal that includes a longer-life battery, A/V cables, a USB Cable as well as a one-year warranty for only $389; and if you act now, we can get you the memory stick reader for only $39 more." Sounds like a great deal, right? WRONG. I finally receive the package on March 15, over a month after ordering it and what I get in the UPS box is nothing more than the camera I expected to pay $299.99 for---the battery, A/V cables and USB cables he mentioned that were part of the "special" should actually have been included at no extra charge and the memory stick reader----the wrong model, it only read Compact Flash cards. I am terribly disappointed, not about Infinity Cameras, but at myself for falling prey to them. I am seriously considering contacting my credit card company and requesting a fraud-type investigation started. Hopefully others will follow suit and send this company a loud, strong message!
