Good point! I see so many people on the golf course with expensive clubs and top of the line golf balls. Yet the secret to the game is all in the player's skill and self-control.
I once saw a guy at the driving range convinced that his old clubs were the source of his terrible drives. An 85-year-old pro walked up, took the same old club in his hands lovingly, hit three sweet long drives and walked away without a word.
