Pros: For a minivan, it is attractive. Reliable. Lots of features.
Cons: Expensive. Doesn't have the Stow and Go seats like the Town and Country.
The Bottom Line: Great family vehicle. Comfy, whole family fits in it. 60/40 third row seats. AWD handles well in snow.

| ahw00's Full Review: 2004 Toyota Sienna AWD |
I have always owned a Jeep until now. My husband and I are expecting our first baby and found the Jeep I owned to be a little cramped for both of us, a new baby, baby accessories, my live-in mother and our golden retriever to fit in comfortably. We decided to look for a larger vehicle. I initally wanted to wait to see the new 2005 Town and Country because of the Stow and Go second row seats but the local dealerships told me they did not expect them until May and our baby is due in April so I starting looking around and found the Toyota Sienna to be everything I was looking for.
We bought the AWD Limited XLE with the HO #6 package. It comes with the Navigation system and DVD player and wireless headphones. I think the DVD is very complicated. My husband has had better luck with it than me, but overall, I like that it will keep passengers occupied while on longer road trips. I don't like that I cannot load movies from the front seat.
I also really like the anti-jam component of the sliding doors, moonroof and back hatch. Just the other day, my friend slammed her son's finger in the sliding door of her minivan. I couldn't help but think if she had the anti-jam feature like I do, it would not have happened.
I personally love the way it drive and handles. It is quieter and smoother than my Jeep but then again, this is family type vehicle...it is a minivan.
I bought my Toyota in Utah and drove it back to my home in Seattle. On this little road trip, it snowed quite a bit. The Toyota handled nicely. I was a little worried initally, but the Sienna AWD got me safely home without sliding off the road.
I could go on and on about how much I love my new Sienna. The occasional things I think could be improved are not significant enough to make me wish I had bought something else. Oh, one last thing, it doesn't accelerate like a car does but then I think, I'm not driving a race car. It is designed with the comfort and safety of a family with a big dog in mind.
