The bedding is usually pretty good. They have a fair selection of TV channels in all of the rooms. Local calls are free. No charge for connecting your computer to the phone system. If you join their frequent traveler's club, you will usually get a USA Today delivered to your room for free.

I have been in Red Roof Inns in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. I use this chain often because I trust the type of accomodation I will get for the money.
