I agree. Nordstrom's has a good marketing angle - they get cheap stuff, initially mark it at high prices then mark it down on "sale" so people feel they are getting a deal when really they are buying cheap stuff at a fair price. I have found similar quality items at Target with the same amount of style for a lot less.

I used to shop at Nordstrom's when I was younger because of the 'prestige' attached with buying from this store. I think many people go into Nordstroms, see the sales and think that it must be a real steal and to think they could get it so cheap at NORDSTROMS, but, in reality, most of the clothing I've purchased there did not hold up for very long. I'll have no problem avoiding the website.

Thanks for your comment. I keep wanting to shop at Nordstrom.com, but everytime I do, I end up disappointed. The sale merchandise has good prices, but even my experience there wasn't great. Oh well! There are definitely better stores out there.
