Pros:Excellent story. Set in Midkemia, the best fantasy world ever.
Cons:Dated graphics. Not much else.
The Bottom Line: If you're a fan of roleplaying or of David E. Feist's books, get this game now.

Betrayal at Krondor was one of the first role playing games I ever played, and it still is one of my favorites. I spent many hours leading Owyn, Locklear, Gorath, and James around the world of Midkemia.

The Good.

Betrayal at Krondor is set in the world of Midkemia, the most immersive ever created. I've read almost every book set in it, and will continue to read and re-read them.

Great characters, a great story, and great gameplay.

Graphics are excellent for the time the game was released.

Entertaining sub-quests keep things interesting.

It's now a free download from Sierra.

The Bad

Graphics are sub-par compared to todays offerings.

Turn-based fighting slows the pace of the game, which might bother people looking for fast action.

I haven't gotten it to work in win2000.
