How could I resist the opportunity to write about underwear? I mean its underwear. So of course I am going to participate in mimi369’s Second Annual Great Underwear Event. It will be fun. Well, since I am writing about underwear, what better subject to write about than the great underwear Mecca, Victoria’s Secret? Online provides gawking material for teenaged boys everywhere (actually, 90% of the male sex). Plus, it has the best bras and panties out there. Plain and simple.
Even though it is costly, I like to get my underclothing joy at Victoria’s Secret. Simply because it’s the best. Sometimes it proves to be a little difficult finding my exact size in the color I want (especially during the big semi-annual sale), so I surf on over to www.victoriasecret.com to order my products.
First of all, I need to give all the wonderful info about the site.
Navigation
It is divided very well into sections. These sections are: bras and panties, sleepwear, clothing and trends, shoes, swim, beauty and sale. From each section, you can shop by collection and style. A search feature is also available on the site, where you are able to search for bras, swim, gifts or clearance items, selecting preferences in order to come up with items that will match your selections. Navigation is that simple.
Selection
Bras on this site are available from 32a-42dd. Panties, sizes XS, S, M and L. Sleepwear is available from sizes XS-XL. Shoes are available from sizes 5-11. There are many different styles available.
Clothing varies, but most are from XS-XL and numbered sizes 0-16. Swimwear varies as well, with most being available from XS-XL as well.
The Beauty section is quite extensive, though it does not all have all of the beauty products available in Victoria’s Secret Beauty stores. The most notable absence is Victoria’s Secret Balmy Nights Lip Treatment, my favorite item VS offers.
Gift cards are also available via the Victoria’s Secret website.

In the United States, in stock items take up to ten days to ship. For out of stock items or international orders, it will obviously take more time than that.
Costs
There is no doubt that items at Victoria’s Secret are costly. A bra there will run anywhere from $22 up to about $40. The average panty price is about $12. Frequent sales do happen (especially the Semi Annual Sale which happens, no surprise, several times a year. These are not items from Wal-Mart, and their price does reflect that. For any Victoria’s Secret item, it is going to cost some money. Some things cost more than others. I would honestly recommend waiting for their sales, because they are quite good.
Victoria’s Secret Online accepts the four major credit cards for payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Victoria’s Secret also has it’s own in house credit card which can be used.
Customer Service
There is a customer service section on the website that provides FAQs to questions.
There is also a list of phone numbers and an e-mail address available if you have any problems. I never had the need to use customer service in any of my purchases from Victoria’s Secret online, because I didn’t need to. The options are available, if they are needed.
My experience
My most recent Victoria’s Secret experience was during the last Semi-Annual Sale, I bought a couple of bras for $15.00 each. Selection was simple. I was able to get the type of bras I wanted in the sizes and colors that I wanted. It was simple. I paid $6.95 in shipping, which was fair.
Shipping was rather slow, though. It took me the full ten days to get my products (I feel that anything over five days when you are paying nearly $7.00 in shipping charges is a bit much). When I did receive the products, they were nicely packaged in a small box. Each bra was further individually packaged in a small plastic bag. A lot of packaging, but nicely done.
The products were delightful, of course.
Conclusion
I love Victoria’s Secret. Some could call it overpriced panty hype. I don’t care. Comfort is key. VS provides comfortable ropa interior for not too horrible prices. When I want the best, I will pay for it. This, quite obviously, the best. I love everything Victoria’s Secret, even though it would be easier on my checkbook if I didn’t. I love my underwear. I love my bras. Victoria’s Secret perhaps isn’t the best keep secret, but it is certainly the most fun.
