ACK! For a minute there I thought you were insulting my review!! :-P (Which I wouldn't normally mind but I actually spent a lot of time on this one!!)
I had the same problem with my 3210 (I think that was the model anyway) and 5210 before too... grr... Still, Nokia were the butt of the great "send this email on to a million people and get a free phone" scam a couple of years ago, so maybe they've just been getting their own back!

The problem you were describing with the constant reselection for text is a lingering problem with quite a few of their phones. One would think they'd have fixed it by now, but no such luck. It was a problem with my old 8290 as well, to the point where texting was downright irritating. I miss my Nokia tho (Sammy now), they still, IMO, have the prime GUIs in phonedom. Great review.
