It appears that some of you are interested in more of the technical aspects of the game. Well, in the case of this program, the overall feel of the activities make the experience more than high fidelity sound or graphics. There are no blasting sound tracks but there is background music that gets a little annoying to me after a while, but doesn't seem to bother my daughter.
There's also the sounds of the city (traffic noise, crowd noise). There is one activity that allows the player to help her friends record a song in a music studio.
As for the realistic nature of the game, I thought I aptly conveyed that in the body of the review, but...activities include Barbie and her friends using cell phones to text message or call one another and discuss birthday gift ideas for their mutual friend. They also contact one another about other activities like charity events and part-time job opportunities. The characters must negotiate the city by taking the subway to their desired block, then walking to the desired restaurant or dress shop. They also help one another choose an outfit for a party or event and comment on the type of clothes they would like to wear.
I call these "realistic" because this is much closer to what teen girls actually do than, say, Barbie's Pet Rescue game. Pet Rescue is a fine game, but lets face it, who goes around saving and grooming pets all day long?

Sounds? Also can you give some examples of all of your statements? If you think it is realistic, tell how it is realistic, etc...
