The Good
Built-in Wireless. Win XP Pro (the EX has XP Home). Fairly fast. Good screen, 12.1". Built-in Ethernet and Modem. Fairly lightweight. Keyboard and touchpad mouse controls are nice. Built in DVD/CDRW.

The Not-so-Good
Audio 1/8" stereo jack has got some interference, sounds bad. Tabs cover the Ethernet and Modem slots, could easily break off. External 15-pin video hidden behind door on left side, instead of in the back. In fact ALL connections (power, USB, Firewire, monitor, Ethernet, Modem) are either on the left or right side (except for docking bay, which is on the bottom). Power connector sticks out of the device by 1-2" and seems that it will be easily broken off.

Recommended: Yes
