Great review which I've bookmarked for my next trip to P. S. (Reply to this comment)

We love Le Vallauris. And I love dining out on the patio. This review is more helpful than Zagat's. Thanks. I'm going to try some of the others next trip out there.

Victoria,
Palm Springs is about a ninety minute drive southeast of Los Angeles, so though it's not in the Metro area, Angelenos consider it to be in the LA area. Most people coming to the Desert area from the East Coast would fly directly in to the Palm Springs airport, though it easily could be part of a trip to Southern California if you rented a car here. It's beautiful there; hope you have a chance to visit one day!

...but I just wanted to know whether Palm Springs was in the L.A. area; it would be off-topic otherwise. Since I know next to nothing about L.A., you'd know better than me probably! I really enjoyed your review, just unclear on that one point.
