LOL
I actually showed this epinion to a few of my "real life" friends and the most common comment I got was that it was a "Classic Susan" experience.
Thanks for taking the time to read and comment, Rob :)

...your writing style didn't convey your personality well enough, this little anecdote certainly displays not only your personality, but your sense of humor as well. For some odd reason, after reading a couple of your reviews, this sort of episode didn't seem all that out of line. Is that a bad thing?? LOL

Great review.

Thanks for the imagery, which I have to say was quite ... marvelous!

But I learned a few things too!

Thanks for reading and leaving the kind words, Robin :)
Yeah, I don't get it either. This summer, I still plan on going to the booth a few times in between backyard and beach tanning so that the tan lines aren't as obvious.

Too funny... (Reply to this comment)

I've been tanning on and off for the past 10-15 years or so, and I never understood the bathing suit "thing". Like you said, isn't the point to have a tan line-free tan? I always thought so...:) But I guess it might be different if I burned easily.

Well written, funny review - I also liked the problem/solution approach!

Great review- informative yet reeeeeaally funny. I really liked the "problem" vs. "solution" approach. I laughed while I learned. Thanks!

I'm laughing so hard right now I'm afraid I'll wake up the neighbors, Michael. And it's all your fault!
Getting a visual of a man in a tanning booth wearing chaps right now.
Thanks for reading and commenting :)

What's so bad about the butt tingles, eh? What do you have against them? I, quite frankly, choose to ONLY tan my butt for those very same tingles that you so despise. You... butt tingle hater!

Cheers,
Michael

Down the street from a truck stop...funny...Hmm...well, I suppose they don't get much sun in those trucks all day :)
I started out with a thong and bra and now go nude.
Thanks, Bonnie...and sweet dreams :)

I used to do this (Reply to this comment)

Prior to moving to California I spent a few weeks going to a tanning salon in NJ to prepare my tan.

They had the beds only and a separate room for the face. This place was down the street from a "truck stop"!

I wore a bathing suit, never thought about a thong, would get sore cheeks.

Entertaining review, now I can go to bed.

Thanks for taking the time to read AND comment, Suzi :)
I understand the reasoning behind your rating and respect it.
Though at the end, I did mention the dangers of burning parts that hadn't been exposed to the sun, I know that for the most part it was a light-hearted review and not so much about actual dangers. So I was prepared for probably receiving a few lower ratings.

But the premise of this review as far as I
can see is the actual health hazards of tanning.
If you would like to edit, please send me the
link and I'll reread and rerate.
