Let me start my saying I have had Verizon ever since it was GTE and GTE Wireless which is over 5 years. I was concerned when they changed to Verizon, especially with all the talk of the strike. My concerns were all a waste of my time and worry. Verizon has been great.
I do most of my business at their Kiln Creek Store, I can even pay my bills there. I had 2 phones at one time but now since I am no longer working outside my home I only have one.
I have digital service and my phone is also capable of analog. The plan I use is the 400 minutes a month with free long distance anywhere in the US as long as I am in my calling area. This is great since we have family in Florida and New York plus to in-state long distance. It has really saved on my long distance bill for my home. I have never had a problem with connecting and maybe 3 dropped calls since I switched to digital. I really can't tell a big difference between digital and analog just that the digital is clearer. Plus I love the caller ID.
One of the best things about their customer service is if they see me going over my plan amount or not using enough of it they will call me or send a letter to discuss a plan change that always saves me money--I love that! They also offer on line customer service which is great to help keep an eye on your bills.
I have never had a bad experience with Verizon. I have recommended it to my friends and most have gone with them and feel the same way I do.
