You Can Do Without Morning SicknessApr 23 '01 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line The bottom line is that even some of the more weird foods will work for morning sickness. It's really up to you and your body! Morning sickness can hit at any time of the day or night. (Since I am currently pregnant I can speak from experience!) Anything can bring about its onset. For me it usually hits around the mid afternoon or evening hours. It could be just about anything that causes me to be nauseas. In fact, there are some times when just about everything causes this effect! Luckily I haven't went running for the toilet more than once. Here are a few things that I have found that work for me: * Jelly Beans * Root Beer * Milk Shakes (especially since I detest the taste of milk) * Saltine or Ritz crackers * Potato Chips * Corn Chip (especially Tostitos - I could eat a whole entire bag of these in 2 days!!!) Now, of course, everyone is different. So everyone needs to find their own remedy. I am not sure why root beer and jelly beans have worked for me but I do think that it goes to prove that each of us has our own thing that will help us along. I hope that you are able to find that special something that works for you! |
