I LOVE a great deal! I also LOVE shopping and gadgets so the Sharper Image Online Store is one of my favorite stores. BUT, they have both high prices and high shipping cost so when I do find a good deal, I jump on it! I am glad to say that IF you shop in their outlet store AND keep an eye out for coupons, you CAN get a great deal at the Sharper Image Online Store
FINDING WHAT YOU NEED
1. The Search option which works by keyword.
2. The bar on the top of the page with 12 categories ~

All of these (except the first three) have a drop-down bar with a lot of subcategories to choose from. All of the choices follow you around as you shop, making it easy to switch from one area to another.
SHOPPING
When you find a product you are interested in you click on the products name to get a picture and more information. Here is one of my FAVORITE things about the site ~ not only can you bring up more details but you can also bring up the product manual! I think this is great as it can answer a lot of questions you may have.
To purchase an item, you put in the quantity you want, the person you are shipping it to and then click on the ADD TO BASKET button. You can then continue shopping or head to checkout.
Note: If you are busy and doing a lot of things, you may be like me and place an item in the basket and have to run off and do a thing or two. When you return, the Sharper Image Online Store will still be up and running but your items will no longer be in your basket! I find this a MAJOR pain in the rear. I know it could be easily solved if I just parked my rear end down until my order was complete but with 5 kids, a husband, 5 cats, a dog and a million chores that need to be done I SELDOM get more than a few minutes at the computer before something else needs my attention and i really dislike having to locate and add my order AGAIN.
Once you are ready to checkout you need to give all the regular billing and mailing information. After picking a password, you will be able to have this information on file and save time on future orders.
After ordering, you will get a detailed order confirmation email (in a heartbeat)and another one when the package is sent. You are able to track your purchase online.

I have only used the • Standard shipping option and it has always arrived within the delivery window of 3 to 7 days.

I LIKE the Sharper Image products and if money were no object, I would own a lot more of them! Of the items I do own (bought both B&M stores and online) I have found them all to be of high quality, problem free and they are all still working. Their online site is easy to navigate, is well laid out, has a wide selection of high quality items and has on time delivery! I have never dealt with their customer service because I have never had a reason to which is always a GOOD thing.
The things I DON'T LIKE about Sharper Image are their high prices, the high shipping costs and the fact they charge me sales tax.
That being said, I do buy from them. I watch for good deals, check for coupons and go thru a reward site to make it a sweeter deal. Be sure to check the reward sites as many include Sharper Image and most of the coupon sites will have a up-to- date list of the coupons that are out there.
For my last purchase I sadly was not able to find a coupon I could use (they had some for higher purchase amounts) but, since the item I was buying was such a great deal, I went through Upromise (5%) and bought it anyway. But even when it is a good deal, it is hard to swallow the high shipping and having to add the tax in too.
For example, my latest purchase was a foot massager through their outlet store. It was a great deal ~ it retailed at $129.95 but is now at the outlet for a lot less!
Here is my order ~
Merchandise Subtotal: $29.95
Tax: $2.46
Shipping: $7.95
Order Total: $40.36
My cost jumped up $10 but my sister had bought it at 25% off and so this was a much better deal! Better go and call her LOL I had tried it at her house and we really liked it so it was great to get it at such a good price.
One good thing is that they have a lot of B&M stores that you can go to and "try out" the products so that you know what to expect and can find the best product for you.
All in all, I would recommend the Sharper Image Online Store for high quality products. I would suggest you first check for coupons and go through a reward site to help take a bit of the sting away! Be sure to check out their outlet department for some wonderful deals. I give them a solid 4 stars.
