You may not be familiar with the name NVE Pharmaceuticals but if you are into sports fitness, weight lifting or working out the name Stacker will definitely ring a bell, even it’s from one of the cheesy WWF / WWE promotional commercials. As I’ve mentioned in more than a few supplement reviews, I weight train at least five days a week and do about an hour or so of cardio a day. Most of the time, when I know I am going to be at the gym for at least an hour and a half, I’ll grab one of the little “bottles of energy” off the shelf and toss it in my gym bag – but lately it’s been getting tougher and tougher to get through my work out without someone interrupting me. “Ahhh, you got any Stacker on you?” is the usual question … followed up with a look from me and a stern nod no. This all came from me telling everyone to stock up on the carious Stacker products that contain ephedrine, even before the ban was made public, I knew it was coming and I stocked up on every bottle I could get my hands on. Sure, they laughed at me, called me paranoid and even went so far as to compare me to Mel Gibson’s character in Conspiracy Theory. Almost a year to the day when I started my one woman crusade to get these buff but buffoon like creatures to stock up … I was the one that was laughing.

Don’t let the name scare you away, it’s the manufacturers name used for the official listing of the site however the URL is www.stacker2.com. Either way, all roads lead to the land of fat burning, quick energy and ephedrine [and ephedrine free] products. There are a few things that you need to know up front; if you live in California, New York or Illinois you won’t be able to order any of the Stacker products that contain ephedrine. Don’t think that you can slip it by them because believe me, several people tried and the orders wouldn’t process. Aside from breaking various laws, the site could get harsh fines, come under a full blown investigation and receive some stiff fines if they sold to anyone that lived in these three states so save your breathe and don’t waste their time by asking. Now, you might wonder why I would shop through a site like this – knowing they can’t ship me certain items .. the answer is simple – good customer service, fresh product and quick shipping. There aren’t a ton of products listed at the site but what they do have are almost always in stock and ship out within 24 – 48 hours after your order is received.
So what can you find at the site? All the Stacker products including the much sought after Stacker 2, Stacker 3 and bulk packs of products. More often than not, you’ll be able to learn about new products through the site before they are up and available in stores. That’s how I came across their new line of drinks, something that I quickly got addicted to [order a case from the site and receive it with free shipping]. I had heard of some of their newer ephedrine free products and used several of them but it wasn’t until I heard talk about Yellow Swarm that I started hitting the site on an almost daily basis hoping that they’d come up with a version of it that I could order [remember, no ephedrine in California, New York or Illinois]. The site is easy to navigate but some of the products have bare bones descriptions – if you ever find yourself needing more information, call their toll free customer service number and they will be more than happy to help you with any questions you may have.
Payment Options
The site currently accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover however if you need to use an alternative payment method such as PayPal or a check or money order, you can call them to see if they can work something out. I’ve used both my MasterCard and Visa for purchases and none of the transactions were charged to my card until they were ready to ship out. Never a single order double billed or charged an amount other that what was shown at the time of check out and the follow up emails I received let me know the status of a few items that were backordered.
Shipping
While some places charge and arm and a leg for shipping, NVE takes the middle road and lets you pick between UPS or USPS to have your items delivered. The ballpark price for shipping is about $6.00 - $8.00 but check the site from time to time to see if they are offering free shipping. You can also catch special codes here and there for free shipping or a percentage off but I’ve never been able to get one that hasn’t been expired. Everything I’ve ordered has been delivered in a timely fashion, well packed to prevent breakage and [knock wood] no mistakes filling the orders. Since they are located on the east coast, my orders usually take about five days to get to me via UPS ground shipping but I never sit by the door and wait since it all depends on when you place the order – I usually try to order no later than Wednesday so I know I’ll have it no later than the following Friday but in most cases it’s in my hands by the following Wednesday.
Return Policy
The return policy isn’t listed at the site so you may want to call them before you place an order just so you know what would be involved if you choose to make a return. If an item arrives damaged they will send a replacement to you at no charge, unopened items can be returned within thirty days for a full refund [minus shipping fees] or for an even exchange. I’ll be honest here, it’s better to pick up a bottle of a Stacker product locally and try it out than to order it online and take a risk that it won’t be something that you like. More often than not you can find smaller sized bottles at places like GNC or Nutri-Sport so you can try them out first to see if you like them. A great example of this is the new Stacker product Stackerdrene. They carry a sixty count bottle at the site but GNC has the twenty count – you aren’t saving a ton of money buying the larger bottle but it takes up less space and you have less of a chance of running out. I got lucky and really like the new product so I placed an order for the large bottle but I would have been really ticked if I ordered it and didn’t like it and was stuck with a $29.95 bottle.

The Bottom Line
The site may very well become one of the few places for people to purchase products that contain ephedrine. It’s pretty sad when people who chose to purchase a product that contains ephedrine or ephedra are treated the same as those who import, sell or manufacture truly harmful drugs. I applaud the site for sticking form to their policy to not sell or ship products that contain ephedrine to the three listed states – so before you bash them for following the rules think about this – is making $30.00 on a bottle of Stacker 2 or Stacker 3 worth thousands of dollars in fines, court costs, investigations and asking for customer information? Put it in that light and most people see NVE’s point of view. They didn’t make the laws and I am sure they aren’t all too happy with them, but they do follow them. Quick shipping, competitive pricing, great customer service and an easy to navigate website are just a few of the great things I have to say about the company … now if we could just get them to add a little more information to their product listings … the site would be perfect.
