Pros: Cleans all dirty surfaces with little effort and no stinky cleaning products.
Cons: One cleaning pad doesn't last very long.
The Bottom Line: Throw away all your old cleaning products, replace them with the M.Eraser. Bottom line, it works, and you'll never need a scrub brush or sponge as long as it's around!

| Kyra's Full Review: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser |
Have you ever done a happy dance over a new cleaning product that really works....?
I haven't, well... that is until I stumbled upon the Magic Eraser.
Let me paint a quick picture for you. I have 4 kids, a husband, and a dog all living in a large house with WHITE WALLS. In translation that means I have white walls painted with crayon, mud, pen, chalk, hand prints, etc. Bathroom sinks full of stuck on gunk, back doors full of muddy paw-prints. Kitchen walls sprayed with food from the frying pan, garage walls with scuff marks...and so on. To say the least.......I'VE GOT DIRT TO CLEAN!
Now, back in the old days (before I discovered the Magic Eraser) I would clean my walls periodically with a scrub brush and a bowl of soapy water. It would take forever and I would have to use lots of "elbow grease" to get some of those wall scuffs off. And some scuffs just wouldn't come off no matter how hard I scrubbed. For example, the gray streaks made by picture frames when I would try to hang a picture on the wall. And of course, the wall area above my stove and sink were especially tough to clean. To think of all the time and energy I've put into cleaning walls that would never end up as clean as I would've liked. But like I said, those were the "Old Days", now since I use the Magic Eraser I spend less time cleaning and more time doing more important things.
I buy my Magic Erasers at Wal-Mart which cost $2.06 for a package of 2. The Magic Eraser looks like a piece of couch cushion and is about as big as a regular kitchen sponge. It is white and soft when you squeeze it. To use it all you need is to run it under water, gently squeeze out the excess water then rub it on the surface you want cleaned. Every time you rub over an area, it wears away at the Magic Eraser until finally it crumbles down to nothing. That's when you pitch the remaining piece and grab a new one. The Magic Eraser is said to be made of an "Innovative Cleaning Material". This material is so innovative, that there isn't even a specific name for it. I'm sure NASA must've developed it, or maybe it was a gift from our outer space friends.
When I use my Magic Eraser on my walls, crayon marks seem to just melt away with a few swipes. Mud stains in the tiny grooves of my door vanish instantly, and my lawn furniture looks like new.
I use the Magic Eraser to primarily clean my walls, but it goes much farther than that. So far I've used my Magic Eraser to clean the following:
- Lawn Furniture
- Toys
- Outside oil stained area of my deep fryer
- Inside of Microwave
- Refrigerator and freezer, inside and out
- Sticky dirt spots on the floor around the refrigerator
- Crud on the phone (especially on the receiver)
- Shoes
- Bathroom and kitchen sink
- Stainless Steel pots and pans
- Grime off of my computer keyboard cover
- Stove
- Kitchen and Bathroom counters
- Dog Kennel
- Shower Walls
- Tub
- Toilet Seat and Toilet Base
- Light switch plates
- Window ledges
- Doors
- Cabinets
Well basically the list is endless.
One note of caution I do have, is to make sure you don't use too much pressure when cleaning. It cleans so good that if you rub to hard on a wall mark, you'll start taking off paint. Also, don't use it on really shiny surfaces because it will dull it.
I absolutely love the Magic Eraser and it's amazing ability to clean. Since it has made it's appearance in my home I've become a cleaning machine that spends a fraction of the time on cleaning, and with better results to boot!
