Pros: OK Unit, doesn't have better range nor data rate then less expensive D-Link G product.
Cons: WEP doesn't work, tech support requested support fee for this feature ($50).

| vmiles's Full Review: NetGear WGR614 Router and WG511 WIRELESS PC Card B... |
I have purchased Netgear Wireless Router WGT624 and Netgear Wireless PCMCIA Card WG511T from Newegg.com online retailer. One of the factors that played a role in my decision to purchase this set of items naturally was the price. The price for both was $177.00 with a $20.00 rebate offer on WGT624 product. After the purchase I have submitted a completed rebate form to the Netgear for fulfillment. Over 2 month later and lack of response from the Netgear, I have contacted Netgear rebate processing office where I was informed that my rebate request was denied due to the product purchased at an unapproved retailer. The name of the retailer (Newegg.com) is clearly printed on the rebate form and despite my objections, rebate-processing office refused to discuss this satiation further and terminated the call. I have sent an email to the Netgear main point of contact listed on their Website. In a week and lack of any response I sent another email inquiring about the situation with the same result.
