Toshiba and Panasonic have excellent model lineup that starts at below $100 and saving couple of dollars can be expensive in the long run.

"NH" for the "Good Picks" section. You haven't seen any of those DVD players much less do you have a right to recommend them. I've got your number, you're a fake.

I might add that I agree with your statement about non brand name DVD players to a point. I did however buy a KLH unit for less than $90 that, in spite of some of it's shortcomings, has performed exceptionally well. I have a Sony now but I hooked up the KLH in my bed room and I still use it quite a bit.
