Pros:Fast delivery, Good technical support
Cons:No hard-copy computer manual
The Bottom Line: Overall, I am satisfied with the Inspiron. I wasn't disappointed with my purchase, but I wasn't overly satisfied either.
I purchased the Dell Inspiron 4000 a few months ago. I was amazed at the fast delivery ...it was ordered online Monday night and it was delivered Wednesday. Overall, it seems to be working well. However, every now and then I get a system error or something to that sort. The computer came with many programs already installed, but I ended up deleting many of them to clean up my computer from programs I don't use. One thing that didn't come with the computer was a manual. I got a trouble-shooting guide, but that doesn't include all of the information that I would find useful. They have that sort of thing on the computer. However, what good does that do if your computer freezes or isn't working well? When I'm having problems with the computer I would rather not have to fool around with it to get the information to fix the situation. I've often ended up calling technical support, which was very helpful but I was on hold for a half hour before someone was able to assist me.
Overall, I am satisfied with my Inspiron. It does it's job and I realized than you're going to have some sort of problems with almost every computer you buy.
