Although, when working properly, these printers are capable of making splendid pictures with allegedly good fade resistance when used with Canon glossy Photo Paper Pro, my experiences with these printers suggest that they do not necessarily realize their full potential because of several factors including a flaw in the design of the ink level status monitoring system, poor manufacturing quality control and incredibly poor tech support from Canon. Therefore, I would suggest that anyone considering the purchase of one of these printers should be aware of these problems before making a final decision.
