I've been in the same situation but I love the challenge and have put together many such furniture pieces. You should have saved some money band-aids aren't that expensive.

yeah but they weren't stupid, they didn't add the doors or shelves. Even they realized it was almost an impossible task. Besides, for insurance reasons, they insist you assemble the unit yourself, you know in case it collapses - smile
