I can't tell you how the baby likes it because that baby is still 3 months from entering this world. However, we have played with it and taken the stroller around the block a few times for practice. Yes, we are excited!
The Evenflo Discovery Deluxe V System is great. It's a fully functional stroller with plenty of storage space, cupholders for the baby and you, visor, sunroof in the visor to check on the baby without pulling the visor back, one hand steering, etc. You can attach the 5 point carrier/carseat to the stroller so there's no waking him/her up to switch. As I've said it has a baby carrier with a very comfortable firm handle. The carrier attaches to a base in the car which seems sturdy and is very easy to setup. Strap adjustments are very easy. My mom already bought just a carseat and it's no where near as simple as this one. The carseat is only good up to 20lbs, so you'll need a new carseat in a while, but this is great while they're very young. You can buy optional bases for multiple cars so switching the baby isn't a hassle.
The system is very easy to connect and seperate pieces once you get the hang of it. It was a bit confusing right out of the box, but within a few minutes we had it all down. The stroller assembles easily, just slip on the wheels.
The stroller folds up very easily. I've seen other reviews talking of the bulk, but we don't see it. It's no bulkier than a stand-alone stroller! And the stroller reclines so you don't have to put the newborns in the carrier. The system doesn't come with a newborn headrest so that's something you'll need to invest in when you get the system. I can't attest to the durability because we've only had it for a week, but if feels solid and looks as solid as the other strollers we saw in the store. Overall, I think this is a great value when you consider you get a carseat, stroller, and carrier all together. It's very easy to use. It looks great. I completely recommend it. If something happens in the meantime, I'll be sure to update this review.
