| Bond008's Full Review: Epson Stylus Photo R300 InkJet Printer |
This is one of the best Printers on the market. Capable of 5760 DPI real photo quality printing. Print a 10 X 8 borderless photo on the best settings & you will be hard pressed to tell the difference between it & a proper Kodak print. This Printer is quiet fast & reliable.
Perhaps one of the best features of the R300 is the CD/DVD print option. You can print strait onto the top of a CD or DVD disc ( correct media required ). This is a huge bonus for anyone who likes to make their own music CD,s. Think of the time it will save.
Another great time saving feature is the multiple memory card slot. Just plug in your memory card strait from the camera & the Printer picks it up & launches Windows own Picture Preview software. This not only saves time but battery power from the Camera. Its also possible to connect some Cameras directly to the Printer using Pictbridge.
The R300 has a very stylish looking front panel. Lots of user friendly buttons enable direct printing without the need of a computer. In addition there is a professional looking LCD panel that tells you what is being done.
Using Epsons own paper its possible to turn out full size borderless A4 prints with vivid full range colours. There are 6 ink cartridges which increases the visual spectrum of colours whilst cutting down the cost layout on new cartridges.
The printer also comes with a very detailed manual & a simple set up guide. Follow the guide & it takes about 10 minutes to set up.
In its stylish Black & Grey this printer would not be out of place in a small office or any home & at around £120 its a real bargain. And its possible to pick up compatible ink cartridges for very low prices ( $5 each ).
This is the best Printer I have owned after 10 years of using various Printers. I have had Lexmarks, Canons & Epsons. So far Epson beats the competition for quality by a long way.
