Price and selection are great; customer service is not only horrible, it's fraudulent!
In 8/03, I ordered and paid for a year's subscription to "Cooking Light." After many promises to fix the problem--including a free year's subscription to an additional magazine--I STILL had not received a single issue of either one. Finally in 4/04, I complained to the Better Business Bureau Online.
Even with the BBB's intervention, the best MagMall could do was beginning my subscriptions in 7/04. This is nearly one year after they took my original order and my money.
To add insult to injury, MagMall habitually blamed the publishers for the lack of delivery. Yet neither magazine (both have been very helpful) has any record of MagMall's having placed an order in my name prior to 4/04. Even when faced with NUMEROUS e-mails, which showed the exact times and dates they assured me they were correcting the error, MagMall pointed the finger at "Cooking Light" and "Jane" magazines.
But you don't have to take my word for it. Just check any consumer ratings site, and you'll see MagMall's wretched track record for yourself.
