Poor after the sale Customer Service!

I was once a happy customer of American Blind and Wallpaper. Quick delivery. Satisfactory product. In fact, in the last year I have placed several orders, 15 blinds in all. My last order was placed in Feb 2004. I order after having received a promotional email offering a $100 Linens N Things gift certificate if your order was over $500. My order qualified. The email indicated that I would receive the gift certificate 4-6 weeks later by mail. Seven weeks after placing my order, I still had not receive the gift certificate so I placed a follow-up call to customer service and was told that the certificate would be mailed the next day. Nine weeks after placing my order, I still did not have the gift certificate, so I placed another follow-up call and I was then told it had been mailed to me two days prior. Ten weeks after placing my order, I still did not have the gift certificate so I emailed the Customer Service Director via a form on the decoratetoday.com website. I received response an hour later but not from the Director. It was instead an email from a Customer Service Rep stating she was asked by "Executive Management" to respond to my email and see need more information so she could research my complaint. It is now the fourth business day since I replied to the Customer Service Rep and I have heard nothing back. I did however finally receive five $20 gift certificates (why they did not just send one for $100, who knows?). Interestingly, the postmark on the envelope with the gift certificates was the day of my nine-weeks-since-I-ordered call to customer service, not two days previous to that as was reported to me by the representative. Obviously, after the sale customer service is lacking!
