Pros: Easy setup, cheap.
Cons: works over 2.4 GHz band and might interfere with a 2.4 Ghz Phone.
The Bottom Line: Go for it.

| mithundutt's Full Review: NetGear WGR614 Router and WG511 WIRELESS PC Card B... |
Got my Netgear WGR614 802.11g Wireless Router a few days back It was advertised at $56.94 with $20 rebate.
This is a great product that was easy to install and worked as advertised right out of the box.
This was my first router installation, and it was easy! The router comes with short, easy-to-follow installation directions. It took me few minutes to open the box, read the directions, connect the hardware , boot into Windows XP and access the router. Netgears interface is wonderful. Modifying security settings, an optional step, was a breeze. I never even looked at the CD that was included.
The range is great . I had the router in my condo and was able to pick up the signals from my car.
The router is Compatible with both 802.11g and 802.11b networking devices
It Delivers 10/100 Mbps over a 2.4 GHz band wireless network
WEP encryption (40/64- or 128-bit),
Compatible with Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, Mac OS, NetWare, UNIX, or Linux .
The only problem I had was the interference with the telephone. I had to play with the phone channels so that the router won't interfere with the phone.Got messed up twice then I went and got myself a 900 MHz phone.Works great now.
