Pros: Great gameplay, awesome cars and upgrades, and supurb graphics.
Cons: story line isn't very complex, not for everyone, TOO MUCH RICE-BOY STUFF!!!
The Bottom Line: This game is a must have for anybody who likes cars. It has just so many good things about it. Even people who hate ricers will love this game.

This is, without a single doubt,one of the best games ever. There are so many options in this game that you can never get bored! I know i didn't.
There are several aspects of this game that i love. One is that it is a pick-up-and-play kind of game. it is easy to get into because the controls and storyline are very simple. Pretty much anybody who's played any type of racing game in the past can jump right in.
Another great aspect of this game is the customization. There are several hundred good-looking combinations once you've unlocked most of the items in the game. Now, this is a REAL big feature for a ricer game. And, on that note, for those of you out there who are afraid to purchase this game because you're afraid that it's got way too much rice-boy stuff in there for you, don't worry. This game has stuff that will satisfy car-guys everywhere (except classic muscle cars. *sob*). I won't disclose any of the stuff that you can unlock, but be forewarned: the level 3 spoilers are UUUUUUUUUGLY!!! One of them looks like you just slapped a Mach-3 razer blade on the back of your car. The rest make you wonder what the designer was smokin' when he made those things. But, you should note that all the upgrades i've seen in the game are upgrades you can get in real life. I should know, i live in the ricer-capital of America (don't quote me on that) and i've seen most of the nausiating upgrades available in the game on cars around here.
Yet another fine aspect of this game is the challenge of it all. There are tracks later on in the game that are difficult to do even on easy. Some of these pain-in-the-butt tracks several times over (about 30 runs on one of them). But after you've beaten those tracks a couple times, it'll will be considerably easier to run through them.
And yet another good aspect is the sense of speed. When you get a real souped up car (near the end of the game) you'll know that your going fast. And the nitrous is especially cool. When you fire off the nitrous the background blurs a bit, giving you a better sense of speed.
Now, there are some disadvantages to this game. One, it is not for people who don't like cars (obviously). Also, racing fans who are strictly particular to simulation racing games may not like this one either. And, one other thing, beware of the rice cars. There are a lot of computer players later in the game that use really riced out cars. There's only one good thing that can come out of all this rice-boy stuff in this game...you can make a bunch of butt-ugly ricers and show them to the world to show what horrible torture rice-boys put good cars through. Also, this game is not for the gamer with a short temper or a lack of patience. Because if you have a short temper or little patience, you'll most likely get a headache on some of the harder levels (not to mention a broken controller and a dent in the wall).
Another disadvantage is that there is no camera view from within the car. There's only two long range views and a bumper-cam. But these disadvantages don't take away from the game too much.
All-in-all, this is a great game. Sure to satisfy anybody who likes racing games. And equally sure to put your nerves through their paces. But be assured, this game will assault your senses and get your blood pumpin' if your into it enough. It is indeed a great game to play. And even inspite these disadvantages, I give this game a five, out of five.
