I've participated in over 20,000 online auctions as either a seller or a bidder and I have to say that I agree wholeheartedly with the above opinion. Bidders can be idiots. So can Sellers. The biggest thing to remember about ebay is that every user on there is a person and therefore subject to mistakes, whining, or just plain stupidity. But, you can find almost anything you want and how many sites can you say that about.

I appreciate the fact that many people don't know how to bid - even if that means I have to pass up items that are overpriced. I have never lost an auction by doing all my bidding at the last second. I've never recieved a nasty/whiny email either :-( That would make the victory even sweeter....
