I was looking for a 20-24" TV for my Den. Since it's a second set, I didn't want to spend too much. I did require an S-Video connection because I am on Satellite.

This unit fit the bill. It works well, picture is great for a cheap TV and I haven't even looked at the instructions - all the setup menus were very intuitive.

I can't comment on the remote because all I use it for is turning CC on and off - everything else is controlled by my satellite remote.
