Not a bad cleaning tool

Pros:Picks up all the dirt mops leave behind, quick drying, easy to use
Cons:Doesn't really pick up dirt that may be dried or caked on.
The Bottom Line: Fabulous product, but not quite as "spectacular" as the commercials say.
I'd seen the commercials time and time again, but I could not justify spending $20 on a wetjet. So I thought I would try the original first. I was tired of mopping my floors with dirty mop water.
I am really glad that the original Swiffer starter kit comes with 2 dusters cloths and 2 wet cloths. With 3 cats and a small child my floor is covered with small pieces of cat litter and stepped-on Cherrios. The dry cloths did nothing to pick up the litter or the cereal, but did pick up the dust and cat hair.
The wet cloths were quick drying and really made the floor look clean. The only problem is that there is nothing abrasive about these cloths so anything on the floor that is stuck there (like dried mud) will still be there when you are done.
What I do is still mop with a regular mop, to get up all the dirt and grime that is ground in or dried on. Then I go back over with the Swiffer to pick up all the dirty mop water that I just smeared around. I was disgusted to see all the dirt the Swiffer picked up from my freshly mopped floor.
All-in-all this is a great product to finish up with.
