I cannot believe that I had forgotten about Pat O'Brien's! Let's see, I'm heading back in July and that will fix that.
Thank you for reminding me about one of the "required" destinations in the Crescent City!

Hey Phil, there's a Pat O'Brien's here in Orlando at Universal Studios' CityWalk. I didn't see it in the list you mentioned of the other locations. I haven't been to the one here, but based on your review, if it IS the same, I may just have to check it out.

Rarely do I wish there was a higher category than "very helpful". Your review was "very helpful" as it made me feel as if I were there, but I wish I could rate higher for the hurricane recipe! In my wild youth, this was my drink of choice and no one makes them in Louisville any more! Thank you so much for a terrific review and a small, brief trip back to my wild youth.

The first time I visited Pat O's was on St. Patrick's Day on the way back from spring break in Key West. Needless to say, I had a great time. I was carrying around that souvenir hurricaine glass the whole night. I don't know how I made it back to the hotel without breaking it. Thanks for bringing back good memories.
