| Trufatty's Full Review: Sprint Mobile Phone Service in New York |
Recently I just purchased a sprint plan after dropping t-mobile.
it's only been a month and so far im pleased with the service and my plan.....however....it hasn't been a smooth ride.
Part 1 (the sign up)
Pretty easy, not 1 problem choosing my plan, I found it to be quite simple and smooth.
Part 2 (choosing your phone)
This should be everyone favorite part right....wrong, unless you got a ton of money to blow on a cell phone, by that i mean the lowest phone they got is just over 200 bucks (ouch), as apposed to the highests alitte over 650 bucks (big ouch). keep in my all the phones look great and have a ton of features that you probably never use for the whole time you got the phone. but lets face facts. it's a cell phone...you shouldn't have to take out a second morgage on your house to get 1. once you get past the jaw-dropping prices...and find a phone you like. BOOM select and your done. i picked the the phone where you get 1 phone for 130, and the other free....it's on their website if your curious.
part 3 (choosing a plan)
Again, the plans are pretty well priced with enough minutes and free time to keep you talking for a while. but bewared.....all the little "extras" will cost you if you.
this may not happen to everyone..but it happened to me. they tryed to con me into getting stuff i wouldn't need. don't fall for it.. go in knowing exactly what you want and stick with it. don't let them tell you otherwise. ALSO IF YOU GET 2 MONTHS FREE, WHICH YOU MIGHT FOR BEING A "GOOD" CUSTOMER...DOUBLE CHECK IT BY CALLING THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE..... I DIDN'T NOT REALIZED THAT SHE SAID I GOT 2 FREE MONTHS WHEN I REALLY DIDN'T...SO PLEASE....DOUBLE CHECK YOU PLAN BEFORE YOU USE THE PHONE.
also keep in mind if you get a family plan where you share the minutes.... and want to add the "extras" (free nights and weekends at 7, ready-link, web access) that costs extra for EACH phone. they don't tell you that thought...so im telling you that now =]
part 4 (the end)
for the most part, im pretty happy with the plan. it has very clear calls, i rarly have few dropped, nice coverage areas, stylish phones and alot of minutes. they have been some instances where speaker phone was a bit skippy....but maybe thats just me.
if you got the money to spend on a 200 dollar phone and a plan then go for it, it's worth the money, but you really won't need the web access....since you pay for kilobytes downloaded....which they also don't tell you....so ask them questions till they hate u =]
